Career

Verónica has been an associate of our firm since 2014 in the Regulatory and Environmental Law group, and a senior associate since 2019 in the same practice area. In addition, she advises several Chilean and foreign clients in due diligence processes, she has focused her practice in different areas of public law, including administrative, public procurement, sanitary, environmental, water, energy and constitutional law.

She permanently advises clients in the development of projects in various regulated sectors including, for instance, non-conventional renewable energies, mining, forestry, aquaculture, real estate projects, among others. She has advised on sectoral permits and authorizations, environmental impact assessment, and sanctioning procedures before various authorities and challenges in public procurement matters. She also advises on different matters derived from Law 20.920 (REP Law), including the implementation of waste management systems.

She has also advised on the drafting and negotiation of contracts of different types, especially energy supply contracts.

She has followed up on constitutional processes and is part of the interdisciplinary work team of the ESG and Compliance area.
