Cariola Díez Pérez-Cotapos' eight strong regulatory law department is comprised of experts in the relations between private companies and governmental agencies and institutions. The team is particularly involved in environmental matters and energy projects, but its mandates also cover gas distribution, water regulations, telecoms, retail, medical devices, and urban planning and zoning. The team is co-led by Gonzalo Jiménez, who advises on infrastructure project-related environmental impact studies, concessions and permits; and Martín Astorga, whose wide-ranging practice includes sanctions proceedings before Chile’s administrative authorities. The public law practice of senior associate Verónica Cuadra covers administrative and constitutional law, public procurement issues, and sanitary, environmental, water and energy law.
