Real estate: with unique expertise in the real estate market, and over 40 years’ experience advising developers and investors, we have profoundly changed the way real estate transactions are carried out in Argentina. The firm advises clients in all sub-sectors: commercial, residential, special housing and mix-used developments, shopping centers, retail and hotels. The firm is also very active in the agricultural sector and other industries with a real estate component, advising local and international clients in all aspects of the business.

Capital markets, banking and finance: provides legal assistance in domestic and international capital markets transactions, acting for both issuers and banks. The firm represents one third of the most active and representative issuing companies in Argentina, with shares listed in the Buenos Aires, San Pablo and New York stock exchanges and NASDAQ. It specializes in debt restructuring and liability management and advice on financial matters, including investment fund, stock options, derivatives, private banking and wealth planning, cross-border syndicated loans, credit facilities and securitization. The firm counsels clients on day-to-day banking and regulatory matters, and compliance with securities laws.

Corporate/M&A: represents sellers and buyers in all industry sectors in due diligence, structuring, negotiation of subscription, purchase and sale agreements, strategic alliances, business collaboration, joint ventures, shareholders agreements, operating agreements, management agreements, purchase and sale of ongoing concerns, put and call options, business combinations, mergers, acquisitions, private equity and venture capital operations, and public tender process. The firm represents local and international clients on day-to-day traditional corporate matters, and advises regarding foreign investments in Argentina.

IT Law, Privacy, Digital Transformation, and Artificial Intelligence:  provides advice to companies and public entities on legal and organizational issues related to the implementation of technology in the business environment, including electronic contracts, procurement of IT goods and services, personal data protection, artificial intelligence, blockchain, legal aspects of information security, cybercrime, and consultancy on de-paperwork and digital transformation.

Dispute resolution, litigation and arbitration: advises on commercial and civil litigation, including class actions, corporate law, bankruptcy law, labor, family, banking and intellectual property conflicts. The litigation department is respected for its handling of complex civil and commercial as well as arbitration disputes.

Energy and natural resources: represents local and international energy, mining, and O&G companies. The firm’s background includes tenders processes, acquisition of assets and their financing, joint venture construction and operation agreements, in addition to standard contracts and IPOs related to mining and O&G assets. Public and regulatory law:  advises on deals related to general administrative law, regulation of public utilities, constitutional law and local regulations with a strong tradition in the fields of privatizations, energy law, infrastructure, regulatory frameworks of electricity, water and sanitation, public contracts and complex national and international transactions. The practice is strong in private-public relationships amidst new regulations in Argentina.

Sports and entertainment: offers advice regarding all issues related to the organization, production, promotion and marketing of sports and entertainment events, and contracts, including transfers, management and sponsorships agreements, labor, tax, civil responsibility, regulation, governance and compliance, international private law, image and intellectual property, with a long experience dealing with leading national and international artists, agents and promotion companies.

Tax law: advises international and domestic clients on tax planning and litigation. The team specializes in corporate transactions, such as cross-border M&A, tax-free reorganizations, foreign investments, and international financial transactions. Services include assistance in purchase audits or tax due diligence.
