Career

Daniel has been a partner at the firm and member of the litigation practice group since 2005. He has over 16 years of experience advising clients on sophisticated litigation concerning administrative and commercial matters, as well as for civil, commercial, energy and real estate controversies. Daniel has also led administrative and bankruptcy proceedings; constitutional relief matters among other remedies before federal and local Courts in Mexico City and across the country.

Daniel’s practice includes judicial review and other administrative remedies derived from public tenders before the Mexican Federal Government, administrative sanctioning procedures, nullity trials and constitutional relief (amparo) proceedings derived from resolutions issued by Mexico’s Federal Consumer Protection Bureau (PROFECO), as well as for legal opinions from multiple matters involving civil and commercial agreements analysis, among others. Daniel has also been part of commercial arbitration disputes before Mexican and international tribunals and panels and led enforcement of foreign judgments in Mexico.

He has represented some of the most important technology companies in the world on civil and commercial lawsuits, including matters arising out of moral damages and those relevant for their operation in Mexico. He has also acted as defence counsel for several oil & gas entities in judicial proceedings.
