Local Partner at Vázquez Tercero & Zepeda (VTZ), acting as key member at the international trade and customs practice.

Emilio Arteaga was promoted as a local partner in March 2019 after five years in the firm. Mr. Arteaga advises and supports companies, both national and foreign, in matters relating to international trade, market access, free trade agreements, incorporation of companies, and commercial contracts.

Mr. Arteaga advises and represents industries and companies in trade remedies proceedings, such as anti-dumping, subsidies, or safeguards in Mexico. Also, our local partner advises and assists Mexican companies in trade remedy investigations abroad. Our local partner advises companies, national and foreign, on issues related to FTA's rules of origin, verifications of origin, market access, regulations, and non-tariff restrictions. Also, Emilio Arteaga represents and defends companies against trade and customs authorities in Mexican courts.
