Adam Paschalidis
Adam Paschalidis is an associate at the firm’s Luxembourg office. He is a member of the Asset Management and Investment Funds practice. He assists with the set-up and regulatory approval of regulated management companies and AIFMs, investment firms and other financial sector professionals. Adam is also involved in the office’s practice with regard to advising banks and investment firms on the foreseeable impacts of major regulatory changes (AIFMD, MiFID II/MiFIR, AML V, etc.) on their product/service range, marketing and distribution strategy, as well as their operating model. In the field of ESG, Adam has an official accreditation from the Yale School of Management, having successfully completed its Sustainable Finance and Investment online program and is now well-positioned to advise both EU and US clients on ESG and sustainability-related matters. This professional qualification reflects his strong experience and practice in ESG topics.
Jan Boeing
Dr. Jan Boeing is a partner in the firm's Finance practice. He has substantial experience in a variety of international, multi-jurisdictional banking and finance transactions, including insolvency and restructuring, capital market matters (with a focus on structured finance, debt securities, securitization, intermediated securities and derivatives) and regulatory matters (including fintech, digital assets, blockchain technology, and cryptocurrencies) relating to the financial services industry. He advises initiators and alternative investment fund managers with respect to their private equity, venture capital, debt and real estate (office, hotel and leisure, logistics, healthcare and transportation) fund products and their related financings. He has extensive experience working with foreign counsel and coordinating advice across multiple jurisdictions.
Mathieu Volckrick
Mathieu Volckrick is the managing partner of the firm’s Luxembourg office. He has over 17 years of professional experience in the Luxembourg asset management, banking and financial services industries. Mathieu has considerable experience advising asset managers and other fund initiators with the design, regulatory approval, marketing, restructuring, and voluntary liquidation of their investment products, including the full range of Luxembourg regulated and unregulated alternative investment funds, club deals and private funds, investing in all major alternative asset classes. Mathieu assists his clients on all aspects of local and cross-border real estate and private equity transactions and has substantial experience leading complex cross-border due diligence investigations, drafting and negotiating transaction and finance documents, and implementing security packages. He regularly advises banks and investment firms on the foreseeable impacts of major regulatory changes on their products/ services ranges, marketing and distribution strategy, as well as their operating model.
