Solace Southwick has a distinct ability to find compelling arguments in complicated situations. An experienced appellate attorney and trial strategist, she represents both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts. Solace’s broad-ranging commercial litigation experience has taken her to each of the fourteen Courts of Appeals in Texas, as well as the 3rd, 5th, 9th, 11th, and D.C. Circuits. She has played a critical role in over 15 trials to verdict, representing companies and individuals.

Solace thrives on the intellectual rigor of litigation. Her clients value her original thinking, attention to detail, and collaborative approach. Solace has successfully handled thorny issues involving securities, breach of contract, construction, ERISA, insurance coverage, oil and gas, and partnership disputes.

Solace graduated with honors from the University of Texas School of Law after attending Smith College. Solace was previously a partner at Andrews Kurth, LLP and Mayor, Day, Caldwell & Keeton LLP.
