Mr.Borges has acted as counsel in major restructuring proceeding in Brazil.He acts,on behalf of creditors,the debtor,and the potential buyer.He also acts as counsel for private equity funds and distressed assets funds. His most representative clients are: Dreyfus Group;LibraTerminais; Companhia Albertina;Banco Safra; Banco ABC; MRS Logística, Eneva, Prumo Logística and PwC.

Mr.  Borges participates in  several  study  committees (Institute of  Lawyers of  São Paulo (IASP); Brazilian  Bar Association, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo Chapter (OAB-RJ and OAB-SP).Mr.  Borges is a member  of  the  board of Brazilian Institute of Reorganisation Studies (IBR),and the non­ profitable organization ''Rio Como Vamos".General Counsel of Providence Bank of Archdiocese of Rio de Janeiro; Participant of Law Reform Committee of the Brazilian Bar, Sections of Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Brasília.
