Position

Daniel Posse co-directs the area of Dispute Resolution and focuses in national and international arbitration, as well as in judicial proceedings and insolvency matters. He has more than 35 years of experience, and his practice is specialized in disputes related to construction, infrastructure, distribution contracts, telecommunications, M&A, corporate matters, and trust-related disputes.

Career

He is an arbitrator of the lists of the Arbitration Centers of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce and of the Superintendency of Corporations and has been appointed as an arbitrator in Latin-American arbitrations. He is a member of the Colombian Arbitration Committee, the Colombian Arbitration Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce, and the Committee for Relations with State Entities of the Latin American Arbitration Association (ALARB). He has also acted as an expert in Colombian law before the courts of the United States of America.

Daniel is recognized by Chambers & Partners as a Band 1 Dispute Resolution attorney. Legal directories such as The Legal 500 and Best Lawyer consider him a leader in Colombia in litigation, arbitration and mediation and he is recommended by Who’s Who Legal in litigation. He is also recognized by Benchmark Litigation as “litigation star” and “top arbitrator”
