In one of the most high-profile sets of litigation cases of recent years, go-to litigator Daniel Posse teamed up with the firm’s capital markets and M&A lawyers to represent Grupo Nutresa on contentious matters related to the hostile takeover bid by the Gilinski Family and Royal Group Abu Dhabi, which resulted in a $4bn settlement agreement. Carolina Posada co-heads the practice together with Posse and recently acted for Frontera Energy Colombia in a $14m lawsuit concerning alleged incomplete payments.
