BRAGARD Abogados is compromised with creating an equal and inclusive working environment for all its collaborators.
BRAGARD Abogados has more female than male lawyers, something quite unique in Uruguay and Latin America firms. Also, BRAGARD Abogados actively promotes that women perform key roles in the organization. Since 2019, the firm has two female partners, Maria Laura Capalbo and Agustin Bomio, that lead the core departments of Litigation and Corporate and M&A respectively.
Furthermore, the firm is compromised in addressing some structural challenges that women face in the legal sector. In order to help women combine work and family life, the company has established a flexible working plan for its female employees. This plan offers part-time and working from home options.
Moreover, BRAGARD Abogados also launched Bolsa M, a flextime platform for working mothers and female employees, which was inspired by its strategy for assisting women in the workplace. Bolsa M project introduces an employment exchange platform that enables women to readily locate new positions that better suit their demands, enabling women to comfortably manage work and family life. The United Nations awarded the innovative tool with a prize for its impact on empowering women in the workplace.
