Career

Capalbo has extensive experience in litigation, private international law and arbitration. Her experience includes acting in relevant trials and international arbitrations and competitions. She routinely works on counseling clients on these areas and providing them with a comprehensive approach to these issues and the resolution of cases, among other things. She is the President of the Uruguayan Bar Association. (Presidente del Colegio de Abogados del Uruguay) As an academic, she is a Teaching Assistant in Private International Law at the School of Law, Universidad de la República, Uruguay and she has lectured on the matter in several congresses and seminars. Within the Uruguayan Association of Notaries Public, she is a member of the Commission of Private International Law and she is the coordinator of that Commission before the Council of the Institute of Notarial Research and Practice.

(Presidente del Colegio de Abogados del Uruguay) Ms. Capalbo is on the list of arbitrators of the Conciliation and Arbitration Center, the International Arbitration Court for Mercosur, the Uruguay Stock Exchange, the Iberro-American Arbitration Center and the USSR.
