Before joining our team, he worked at Dentons López Velarde, S.C. (2018-2019), a firm where he was in charge of providing consulting services and where he participated in negotiations with multinational companies for the acquisition of energy projects in Mexico

Later on, he worked at Techint México, S.A. de C.V. (2020-2021), where he actively participated in negotiations for the execution of infrastructure contracts, including related EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction), operations and maintenance (OMs), and other commercial contracts. During this time, he also collaborated in several projects that have had a positive impact on infrastructure and energy development in our country.

Some of the significant matters and transactions in which Luis has advised and represented various companies include the following:

CC Norte III (Ciudad Juárez): Participated in the negotiation closure for the completion of construction and operation of the combined cycle plant known as CC Norte III in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua.

ATCO Pipelines: Provided counsel in the preparation and negotiation of right-of-way agreements for the construction and operation of a gas pipeline in Tula, Hidalgo.

Tesla: Provided counsel in the preparation and negotiation of the acquisition of various properties for Tesla’s plant in Monterrey

Luis is a Spanish native speaker and is fluent in English.

Luis obtained his Law Degree from Universidad Anáhuac México (2014).

In addition to his career, he holds a Diploma in Energetic Law from Escuela Libre de Derecho (2016), which allowed him to further specialize in this crucial and ever-changing field.
