With more than 20 years of experience in the Mozambican market advising foreign investors, sponsors and lenders, she is involved in structured financing and infrastructure projects. Experienced on cross border transactions and regulatory issues, having developed know how in advising economic operators and contracting authorities in public procurement and public private partnerships. Paula is also an arbitrator, with a developed track record in institutional and ad-hoc arbitrations. She is a Partner with MDR Advogados.

Tiago, who is a member of the Mozambican Bar Association and the Portuguese Bar Association has been advising clients, mainly foreign, on restructuring processes, mergers, demergers, acquisition of interests or financing operations in Mozambique. He assists the clients throughout the complete business life cycle, from the approval of foreign investment projects, to corporate and winding up and/or insolvency procedures. He has advised across different sectors including banking, energy (renewable and non-renewable), extractive industry, insurance, real estate, construction, retail, amongst others. Tiago Arouca Mendes is an accredited Industrial Property Agent (AOPI). He regularly participates in several articles for international publications (namely on Energy, Infrastructures/PPP and Foreign Investment) and also as a speaker in his areas of activity. Currently, Tiago is the Managing Partner of the firm.
