Before joining the firm, he acted as General Counsel for two leading companies in Colombia, namely Almacenes Exito S.A. (retail) and Productos Familia S.A. (home and personal care manufacturer).

Carlos holds a law degree from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and a Master Degree (LL.M.) in Private Law from Utrecht University School of Law, The Netherlands. He also pursued two executive programs at Universidad Externado in Business Law and Intellectual Property Law.
