Recently Leilany led a strategy of handling around 520 lawsuits against regulator CONDUSEF, obtaining a 100% success rate in each lawsuit; currently 280 of those lawsuits have final resolution. Leilany intervened in a case in which a Mortgage Insurance Company was in risk of being severely sanctioned. She developed a strategy to avoid the fine. Leilany is now preparing to incorporate a new car insurance company, planning to break the firm’s (and market’s) speed record of obtaining a license in 5 months and 21 days. Leilany has a strong practice in Insurance and Reinsurance Law. She is part of the Corporate & Regulatory team (both part of the Insurance, Reinsurance and Bonding Department), and currently leads the Money Laundering Prevention Area (AML).
