Career

As a Partner in Wiggin and Dana’s Strategic Sourcing and Technology Transactions Group, Tamia’s practice focuses on helping global outsourcing and technology suppliers structure, negotiate and document the full range of onshore, offshore and near-shore technology and services transactions. Tamia has extensive experience negotiating complex, competitively-bid business process outsourcing (BPO) and information technology outsourcing (ITO) transactions across North and South America, Europe and Asia.

Tamia advises customers and suppliers of all sizes in the development, procurement, distribution, implementation, maintenance and use of technology-enabled products and services. Her experience spans a wide variety of vertical industries, including financial services, insurance, hospitality, retail, manufacturing, life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, business consulting and general E-commerce. She also helps clients negotiate complex transactions related to software development and licensing, robotics and data automation solutions, strategic alliances and joint ventures, consulting and professional services engagements, cloud-enabled digital transformation projects and E-commerce and other internet-based initiatives.

Tamia has an established track record of achieving successful outcomes for clients and is widely respected throughout the industry as a highly-skilled, practical advocate, who is able to get deals over the finish line. She is ranked globally by both Chambers and The Legal 500 and is one of the leading women in the outsourcing bar.

Tamia earned her J.D. summa cum laude from Pace University School of Law and her B.S. magna cum laude as a University Honor Scholar from New York University. Tamia was selected for membership in Beta Gamma Sigma, the honor society for collegiate schools of business. During law school, Tamia served as Managing Editor of the Pace Law Review, was awarded the Academic Excellence Law Trustee Scholarship, and, as class valedictorian, received the University Faculty Award for Outstanding Scholastic Achievement.
