Career

Chris specialises in non-contentious construction, engineering and infrastructure projects providing strategic and practical advice to clients.  He has 25 years’ experience advising public and private sector clients, contractors and funders on all aspects of the procurement of development and infrastructure projects across a wide range of sectors including mixed use commercial developments, town hall redevelopments, logistics and warehousing projects, refurbishment projects, new build PRS developments, energy projects (waste to energy, offshore wind, solar and CHP),  transport projects (heavy and light rail, road and port projects), education, blue light, health and accommodation projects. He has advised on more than 20 PFI/PPP projects. He also advises a number of funds on the development and refurbishment of their asset portfolios.

Chris advises on all the major forms of internationally recognised construction and engineering contracts, particularly the JCT, NEC, IChemE and FIDIC suites of contracts.
