Lawyer

Dominika Tyc is a trainee advocate and lawyer in the IP/TMC Team at CMS.

She specialises in issues related to personal data protection, new technologies, cybersecurity, and intellectual property law.

Dominika’s experience covers advice on intellectual property law, in particular on agreements for the transfer of intellectual property rights and licences, as well as conducting administrative and litigation proceedings before the Patent Office and administrative courts. With regard to personal data protection, she deals, among others, with employee data processing, preparation and evaluation of policies, procedures and agreements meeting the legal requirements provided for in GDPR. Dominika also advises on aspects related to online business and provision of electronic services (including VOD services), or cyber security breaches.

She joined CMS in 2021 and before that had gained her professional experience in Affre i Wspólnicy sp. k. law firm, as well as in the legal department of Loyalty Partner Polska sp. z o.o. (PAYBACK/American Express Group).
