Sunil is a Consultant Solicitor here at Slater Heelis.

Sunil has taken part in numerous DTI and other trade delegations and over the years has established a large network of overseas contacts, particularly in India.

Sunil’s work has focused on commercial transactions including banking, mergers and acquisitions and cross-border transactions, especially between the UK and India.

Sunil is a recommended lawyer in the Legal 500 law directory and was a Partner until 2021 when he stepped into a Consultant position.

Sunil is a member of the Board of Trustees of TiE Global and is currently Chair of the annual TiE Retreat. He has been a past President of TiE UK North and has been actively involved in TiE for a number of years. TiE is a global networking organisation for entrepreneurs established to mentor, educate and support entrepreneurs worldwide (www.tie.org)

Sunil graduated from Imperial College London with an Honours degree in Physics in 1976, then in 1980 qualified as a solicitor, initially working in general practice. Whilst in general practice, he also qualified as an insurance broker and was a partner in his father’s insurance broking business. Sunil was recently awarded the title of Chartered Insurance Practitioner.

Sunil Mohindra came to England from Kenya with his family over forty-five years ago.
