Position

As Senior Partner, Chris is heavily involved in the management of the business but still does a lot of client work. He is experienced in a variety of contentious disciplines, specialising in commercial disputes, property litigation, professional negligence and contentious trusts and probate.

Clients range from private individuals, small companies and partnerships, to PLCs and not-for-profit organisations.

Career

Chris has been with Slater Heelis since 1990. He spent the first 8½ years based at the Manchester Office, becoming an Associate with the firm. He then moved to Sale at which time he became a Partner.

He has taken an increasing role in the day to day management of the business and completed the MMU Higher Diploma Legal Practice Management Course in 2011. He still maintains a case load and undertakes a wide variety of contentious matters. The majority of his work is commercial litigation.

Leisure

Outside the office Chris is a governor of Connell 6th college, Director of a wonderful local Theatre company, Quarantine, and a Trustee of HUGS.

Chris is a season ticket holder at Man City. He enjoys playing football, tennis, golf, cycling and walking. He’s also partial to good food, holidays, exploring his vast vinyl collection and spending time with his wife and three kids.
