Dispute Resolution, Employment and Insolvency

Joseph is a partner and member of the firm’s Management Board. He is also the Head of the Contentious Department. Joseph has a thorough understanding of insolvency law and practice and successfully completed the JIEB insolvency exams in 2009. As a trained mediator, he adopts a commercial and straightforward approach to resolving disputes. Joseph advises on all aspects of contentious employment law, including settlement agreements.

Joseph joined CooperBurnett in 1999, has been a partner since 2002. He has over 20 years of experience in advising insolvency practitioners, businesses, and individual clients on contentious and non-contentious matters.

In his spare time, Joseph is a keen footballer and has, more recently, taken to long cycle rides, having been part of our team which rode from London to Paris in 24 hours in aid of Brain Tumour Research.
