Partner

Marnix Veldhuijzen is a partner in Dentons’ Tax practice in Amsterdam. He is also the Europe Co-Head of the Dentons Family Office and High Net Worth (DFO) group, which provides cross-sector and cross-practice services to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families globally. He works primarily with Dutch private equity funds, family offices, private equity houses, and privately owned Dutch companies and their shareholders. Marnix is a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisors and has published numerous articles on topics related to his practice. He joined Dentons in 2017, after working for another large international law firm for nine years.

Marnix focuses his practice on private equity, mergers and acquisitions, fund formation, management participations and high net wealth individuals, specifically in relation to Dutch corporate tax law, personal income tax law and gift and inheritance tax law.

His practice also covers international tax law, including national and cross border estate planning, business succession, design of investment structures, mergers and acquisitions, joint venture structuring and tax litigation.
