Dirk-Jan Gondrie MRE is a partner in the Amsterdam office and member of the Real Estate practice group. He specializes in real estate transactions and property development, as well as asset management related matters. Dirk-Jan acts mainly for international and Dutch institutional investors and developers. He is frequently engaged in cross-border real estate acquisition and restructuring work, focusing on Dutch sale and lease aspects. Dirk-Jan lectures at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate (ASRE).

Heico Reinoud
Heico Reinoud is a partner and a co-head of the Tax practice group in Amsterdam. Heico has a broad advisory experience in Dutch corporate income tax and dividend withholding tax planning, European tax law and international tax aspects of cross border transactions. He advises real estate and private equity firms with respect to fund location and formation, structuring their investments and financing of their acquisitions. He assists pension funds and insurance companies with respect to Dutch dividend withholding tax refund procedures. Heico also advises multinationals with regard to mergers and acquisitions and internal reorganizations. He further assists his clients with obtaining advance tax rulings (ATR) and advance pricing agreements (APA) and negotiates on their behalf in tax disputes. More recently, he has advised on matters concerning OECD's Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS), EU State Aid and Country by Country Reporting (CbCR).
Nick de Rooij
Nick de Rooij
Nick de Rooij is a counsel in the Corporate and M&A practice in Dentons' Amsterdam office. Nick focuses on complex M&A transactions, private equity, venture capital and joint ventures. Many of the deals on which Nick works are cross-border and involve a broad range of sectors. Nick’s client portfolio includes both national and international public and private companies, including private equity firms, venture capital investors, leading service providers, industrial and financial organizations. A results-driven lawyer, Nick is renowned for his calm approach, responsiveness and social skills, making him a tremendous asset in his day-to-day transactions with clients. Nick completed a postgraduate course on Finance Law at Grotius Academy in 2022 (cum laude). In 2019, he was seconded to Eurus Energy Group, a leading Japanese renewable company, as legal counsel to support their European transactions. He is also a member of Dentons Europe NextGen Council, a committee of ten high-performing colleagues that acts as a sounding board to the Europe Board.
Rezan Ökten
Rezan Ökten
Rezan is counsel and Head of the Transfer Pricing practice at Houthoff. He advises his clients on business restructurings, intellectual property, headquarter cost allocation models, financial transactions, dispute management and resolution. He has significant experience in advance pricing agreements, tax audits, mutual agreement procedures and court proceedings. He started his career at a Big 4 firm and also worked as a global in-house transfer pricing specialist at leading telecommunications and technology companies Liberty Global and VEON. Rezan has a 360-degree perspective due to having worked both as an adviser and in-house specialist. This unique combination of knowledge and experience gained on both sides of the table is at the heart of how he advises clients. With a clear vision and technically sound approach, he knows when to go the extra mile or be pragmatic to get buy-in from all the relevant stakeholders. In addition to being a fellow at the University of Amsterdam's Advanced LL.M. programme in International Tax Law, Rezan teaches Transfer Pricing Masterclasses at IBFD. He is a regular speaker at conferences and has written several articles focusing on the transfer pricing aspects of intangibles and cost contribution arrangements. He has also authored a book and co-authored various transfer pricing books. Rezan is a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (Nederlandse Orde van Belastingadviseurs) and the International Fiscal Association (IFA).

Rogier van der Weijden
Rogier van der Weijden is a senior associate in the Corporate and M&A practice at the Amsterdam office of Dentons. He advises on complex domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity investments and other general corporate matters, with a particular focus on private M&A, private equity and venture capital. Rogier advises both national and international public and private companies, including leading service providers, industrial and financial organizations and private equity firms. His experience includes advising client in the technology, manufacturing, corporate, real estate, underwriting and transport sectors. Rogier completed a secondment in 2021 to Amazon, an American multinational technology company listed on the NASDAQ (NASDAQ: AMZN) having a focus on e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming and artificial intelligence, during which he worked as a corporate legal counsel to support their Corporate EMEA Subsidiaries team in Luxembourg.
Suayip Öksüz
Suayip Öksüz
Suayip is a senior associate in the EU Competition and Foreign Investment practice in the Dentons Amsterdam office. He is focusing on European and Dutch competition law and is also knowledgeable in Turkish competition law. His practice covers the full range of topics within the antitrust area, including multi-jurisdictional merger control, aspects of competition law in contractual relations, representing high-tech companies in complex competition matters, cartel investigations and litigation, abuse of dominance and competition compliance issues. Another major area of Suayip's expertise relates Dutch foreign investment review regime. He supports foreign investors and Dutch targets on the implications of foreign investment review on M&A transactions and prepares the clearance process, closely interacting with the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate. Suayip has also been closely following the developments in relation to the Foreign Subsidies Regulation, educated and advised clients on the new rules, conducted workshops and published articles on this topic. He further advises clients on export control matters, appearing before regulatory authorities in The Netherlands. He supports clients in setting up or improving their internal export control and sanctions compliance organization. He also advices clients on the practical implications of the EU / Dutch sanctions on transactions relating to Russia and other sanctioned countries. Apart from his export control and sanctions expertise, Suayip has expertise in anti-corruption laws and regulations. He advises companies in the defense, medical and recreational cannabis and tobacco industries - from startups to large publicly listed companies - on regulatory issues. In addition, he has experience in public procurement law. He provides legal advice in tender procedures and complex litigation procedures. He serves as a member of the Hiring Committee. His passion lies in innovation, tech, and especially legal tech and Artificial Intelligence. As an AI Steering Committee Member and Innovation Ambassador at Dentons, he is trying to make sure that these developments reach as many of his colleagues and our clients as possible.
