Wael also spent 10 years as a deputy prosecutor with the Saudi Arabian Department of Prosecution & Investigation.

Yara AlSaygh is an associate based in Dentons' Jeddah office. She is a member of Dentons' corporate advisory team and has broad experience relevant to corporate and companies law and foreign investment practice, including incorporation of companies, reviewing constitutional documents, advising on corporate structuring and the participation in the Regional Headquarters (RHQ) program, and liaising with government officials on approvals and licensing requirements. Mohammed Hamad Aldrees is an associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice in Dentons' Riyadh office. He has six years of experience working with the Saudi Royal Court on a wide range of matters including providing legal consultation across multiple areas of law and reviewing and revising initial drafts of new statutes, regulations and frameworks prior to submission to the Council of Ministers. Mohammed has also drafted Royal Orders, High Orders and various legal instruments for the Royal Court and contributed to the decision-making process at the Royal Court by conducting in-depth legal research and analysis. Abdullah Alsulaimi is a partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice at Dentons' Riyadh office. He is a highly experienced lawyer with more than 13 years of experience in Saudi law. Abdullah has served in prominent government positions, including Deputy Minister for Laws and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Justice, Advisor to the Minister of Justice and Assistant Deputy Minister for Property Registration. He has also held the prestigious role of judge in commercial courts and as a Committee for Resolution of Securities Disputes member. In these capacities, Abdullah successfully resolved complex disputes in the commercial and real estate sectors. He was the arbitrator in several major arbitration cases, with disputes exceeding SAR 2 billion. In addition to his judicial work, Abdullah has been instrumental in addressing several critical regulatory issues. Notably, he played a vital role in reviewing and reforming the real estate registration procedures and resolving its challenges, which led to restructuring the Real Estate Registration System. Abdullah also oversaw establishing a specialized legislative department within the Ministry of Justice that focused on drafting laws and regulations. Moreover, he contributed to developing regulations governing the presence of foreign law firms in Saudi Arabia, culminating in the issue of the specific regulatory framework. Abdullah has also played a significant role in regulatory development. He has been actively involved in drafting several vital legislations, including the Civil Transactions Law, the Evidence Law, the Commercial Courts Law, the Judicial Costs Law and the Regulation of Foreign Law Firms. Gabriel advises national and multinational firms, strategic buyers and sellers, and corporations on a variety of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions (buy-side and sell-side), investment structuring, divestitures, joint ventures and other complex corporate transactions. Luisa Geiling is a counsel in the Banking Regulation and Financial Institutions' Regulatory team in Riyadh. Prior to joining Dentons, Luisa worked, among others, as an associate in financial regulation and capital markets at Linklaters in Frankfurt and Dubai, where she was involved in a broad range of financial regulatory matters and conventional and Islamic capital market transactions. Her expertise in financial regulation covers multiple jurisdictions, having advised clients on EU, German, Luxembourg, KSA, UAE mainland, DIFC and ADGM law. She advises government entities, banks, insurance companies, investment firms, fintechs and other financial institutions on all aspects of financial regulation, including ongoing compliance, provision of cross-border services, market entry structures, fund structures, and financial products. ln addition, Luisa has experience with legislative enhancement projects.

Shahzaib Khan is a senior associate in the Corporate and Commercial practice in Dentons' Riyadh office. He has nine years of experience working on a wide range of matters including mergers and acquisitions (both buy-side and sell-side), legal entity rationalizations, joint ventures, government projects and complex multijurisdictional transactions. His experience spans a range of sectors including oil and gas, hospitality, aviation, government, data centers, automotive, and information technology and telecommunications. Ziad Saad is a partner based in the Dentons’ Riyadh office, after postings in Paris, London and Dubai. He is the managing partner of Dentons' Saudi Arabia offices and a member of the Corporate practice. Ziad has broad-based international corporate experience, with a particular focus on Saudi Arabia. He is the trusted adviser to corporate, private equity and financial institution clients on domestic and complex cross-border acquisitions (both buy-side and sell-side, including in auction), and joint ventures, in a wide range of industries, as well as on ongoing corporate and securities law matters. Ziad advises extensively in all areas of international capital markets, advising issuers and underwriters in connection with equity and debt offerings, including initial public offerings, rights issues and privatizations. His experience also includes the formation of Shariah-compliant funds in Saudi Arabia. In addition to his transactional experience, Ziad advises on PPP projects and project structuring in the aviation and infrastructure sectors in Saudi Arabia.
