Emily advises a range of domestic and international companies. She is experienced in patent drafting and global patent prosecution, conducting due diligence and European freedom-to-operate assessments and European oppositions and appeals
Career
Emily Nytko-Lutz joined Reddie & Grose in 2018, having previously worked for another London-based IP firm. She has also worked in-house at a multinational medical device company and as a patent examiner at the US PTO. This range of experience in multiple settings and jurisdictions provides Emily with a unique perspective on clients’ needs.
After graduating from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, she completed a PhD at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Inorganic Chemistry that focused on the development of frustrated magnetic materials.
Emily has handled patent work in various fields, including personal care products, petrochemicals, fuel cells and batteries, automotive products, packaging, building materials, household consumer goods, biotechnology and medical devices.
