Alex Cope handles patents within the electrical, electronics & telecoms and software & business methods fields

Alex qualified as a UK and European Patent Attorney in 2018 and mainly works within the electrical, electronics & telecoms and software & business methods fields. His practice involves prosecuting and drafting patent applications in the UK and in Europe for a wide range of clients. Alex’s main areas of expertise include audio and video signal processing, data encryption, telecommunications and semiconductor devices, as well as handling registered designs in Europe and further afield.

In addition, Alex has an interest in the renewable energy sector and has experience handling patent applications relating to solar cell power conversion and control units for wind turbines.
