Position

Mark is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Trade Mark and Litigation and Dispute Resolution groups. He is a Solicitor (England and Wales), Solicitor (Ireland) and a Registered European Lawyer (Munich).

Career

Mark advises clients on disputes, brand protection, IP strategy and enforcement. He has extensive experience in matters relating to trade mark infringement and passing off, including litigation, advocacy, opinion and advisory work. Mark regularly handles oppositions before the UKIPO and EUIPO, as well as domain name disputes before WIPO and Nominet, and disputes before the Company Names Tribunal.

Mark is also experienced in advising on and drafting IP-related commercial contracts, such as assignments, licenses and non-disclosure agreements.

Mark completed his training contract at a large international law firm, which included a secondment at a major multinational consumer products company. He joined Maucher Jenkins upon qualification, and since then has completed the PG Certificate in Intellectual Property, obtaining a Distinction, and has also been admitted as an Irish solicitor.
