Career

Silke graduated from the University of Hamburg in 1995 with an Honours Degree in Physics. She then conducted research in the field of High Energy Physics at the German Laboratory for Particle Physics in Hamburg and the European Laboratory in Geneva. She was awarded her PhD from the University of Hamburg in 1998 and continued with physics research.

She moved to London in 1999 and joined Maucher Jenkins. She qualified as a UK Chartered Patent Attorney and a European Patent Attorney in 2003.

Silke has particular experience in patent prosecution in a range of fields, particularly in physics, computer-science, IT, communications, including 4G and 5G, neural networks and artificial intelligence.

Position

Silke is a Senior Associate in the Patents department, a Chartered Patent Attorney and a European Patent Attorney.
