Ramanjit practices in all areas of family law with particular emphasis on children matters.

She frequently appears in the High Court, and deals with the most serious cases, with leading counsel or as sole counsel.

Ramanjit has experience of international, cultural and religious disputes, which include issues of relocation, child abduction and forced marriage.

She is skilled at representing clients in matters which involve the determination of a child’s living and contact arrangements. She is also frequently instructed in cases involving serious allegations of harm, intractable hostility and parental alienation.

Prior to joining the Bar, Ramanjit practiced as a solicitor-advocate in private practice specialising in family law.

Ramanjit represented the father in a lengthy and complex case involving a challenge to the expert medical evidence (led by John Tughan QC).

Re V-Z (Children) [2016] EWCA Civ 475

Ramanjit represented the mother in a 10 day hearing at the High Court (as sole counsel) following a successful outcome in the Court of Appeal (led by Marcus Scott-Manderson QC).
