Year of Call 1978

Following Call Nigel qualified as an HM Inspector of Taxes following which he used the knowledge he had acquired in an international accountancy firm, in-house for international commercial organisation and for a national solicitor’s firm. He joined a team providing commercial, taxation and pension legal advice for over 1,000 pension schemes. On the purchase of this business by an international finance house, Nigel took his experience to the independent Bar. This broad earlier career allows him to provide advice and representation to the client that is recognised as forthright yet balanced.

Nigel has presented many papers in conferences, seminars and training sessions to other professionals and the public at large at large and small venues and via the internet.

Having worked both as legal adviser and an in-house lawyer, Nigel recognises the requirements of the client for sensible and robust advice and representation.
