ConstructionInstructions in all types of construction matters are accepted. Having previously specialised in insurance for construction professions Gary has previously worked closely with some of the largest consulting engineers, architects, surveyors and contractors on all manner of issues relating to risk management, tendering, procurement and construction negligence.

Gary has considerable expertise in relation to all standard forms of construction contracts including RIBA, FIDIC, JCT, ACE and ICE (ground investigation) both in the UK and overseas jurisdictions. He has particular experience in relation to the full suite of NEC3/NEC4 contracts and is happy to advise on matters relating to early warning notices, compensation events/pain sharing, payment options and ‘Z Clauses’.

Insurance

Having previously worked in the insurance industry Gary is well placed to advise on all matters of insurance including;

professional indemnity insurance public liability business interruption (including COVID-19 related matters) cyber/crime policies director and officers Lloyds of London/regulatory reinsurance; fraud policy terms/drafting claims notification aggregation of claims subrogation policy extensions/exclusions cover/claims declinature.
