Career
Chris appears in the Crown, Magistrates’ and Youth Courts on a daily basis. He has been instructed in a wide range of criminal matters, acting for those who have been charged with drug offences, dishonesty offences and offences of violence. He has also been frequently instructed in a variety of driving matters.
Chris is regarded as an advocate who combines his knowledge of the law with a passion for fearlessly representing his clients, enabling him to make persuasive oral and written submissions. It is this approach which has led solicitors to describe him as “articulate and robust in his advocacy” as well as being “meticulous” with regards to case preparation. He has experience of representing defendants with a range of vulnerabilities and cross examining vulnerable prosecution witnesses in a sensitive, yet effective, manner.
Chris has also been instructed on extradition matters and is regularly instructed on behalf of members of the Licensed Taxi Drivers Association.
