Corporate Social Responsibility

Henderson Chambers undertake many CSR initiatives.

Silks and Juniors continue to review numerous cases on a pro bono basis, devoting substantial amounts of time to work for clients ensuring legal representation in High Court hearings, and many other cases for those most in need but without the ability to pay for representation.

Other schemes that our members have and continue to volunteer for include work for Advocate (formerly The Bar Pro Bono Unit) and the Chancery Litigants in Person Scheme (CLIPS) in the RCJ.

Chambers participate in the annual London Legal Walk for the London Legal Support Trust (LLST) , raising much needed funds for charities that provide life changing legal advice and representation to those in need.

Chambers is pleased to be a supporter of Carney’s Community, an initiative working with disadvantaged and disengaged young people to support them to be the best they can be.

Chambers has donated books to all 77 primary schools in The London Borough of Bromley, supporting an ongoing project in partnership with The Legal Action Group.

Outside of the legal arena, both members and staff are personally engaged and work hard to contribute to a variety of CSR initiatives across a diverse range of activities and sectors, including voluntary and fundraising work for a number of charities, schools, community and sports clubs.
