Ben’s primary areas of practice are in family law (particularly relating to family finances and private law children matters), trusts (including TLATA 1996 and private client), and property law. Ben also regularly accepts instructions relating to commercial disputes and personal injury claims.

Ben’s court experience is wide and he routinely appears in the, High Court, Family Court, County Courts, and First-tier and Upper Tribunals. Ben’s instructions range from interim applications to multi-day contested trials and final hearings.

Ben also is regularly instructed to draft pleadings, witness statements, applications, and also to advise on various aspects of cases (including prospects and litigation strategy).

Personal

Prior to joining 4KBW, Ben worked as a tutor teaching trusts and land law to undergraduate and post-graduate students. Ben was also employed as a legal assistant at a leading construction chambers and was a contributing author to ‘Keating on Constructions Contracts’.
