Barrister: Tim is a highly experienced barrister who acts in domestic, international and offshore cases.  He is called to the bar of England & Wales, Bermuda and BVI and has a strong Commercial, Corporate, and Trust practice with expertise in complex multi-jurisdictional high value work. He has represented international and local clients in a wide range of jurisdictions in Court, Arbitration and Mediation. Tim is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a CEDR accredited mediator. Barrister: Tim regularly acts in complex construction disputes often with significant technical or expert evidential issues – including adjudications (both under the Scheme for Construction Adjudication and under ad hoc rules) and High Court TCC enforcement proceedings including recent appeals to the Court of Appeal Gosvenor London Ltd v Aygun Aluminium UK Ltd [2018] EWCA Civ 2695: [2019] Bus. L.R. [2019] B.L.R. 99; 182 Con. L.R. 38 | [2019]; C.I.L.L. 4249: and Brown & Brown v Complete Building Solutions Ltd. [2016] EWCA Civ 1; [2016] B.L.R. 98; [2016] 164 Con. L.R. 21. Tim also has substantial experience in relation to domestic building disputes, with a particular emphasis on dealing with such cases through mediation or ADR. Tim became head of Lamb Chambers’ construction group in January 2020. Tim also has a very successful intellectual property practise which  covers all aspects of UK and European intellectual property law (copyrights: Davies v Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club (1986) Ltd [2019] EWHC 1252 (Ch), trademarks and brand rights: Asian Business Publications Ltd v British Asian Achievers Awards Ltd [2019] EWHC 1094 (IPEC), rights in designs and patents) in the High Court (IPEC and chancery division), the UKIPO and the CJEU: Sun Mark Ltd and Bulldog Energy Drink Ltd v Red Bull GmbH – (Court of Justice of the EU – Case C-206/15 P: 2015). His practise also includes conducting complex arbitrations of intellectual property claims under both LCIA and AAA rules. He also advises on and drafts commercial contracts, licensing and franchising agreements, and software licensing agreements. In addition, Tim also lectures and writes and lectures on all his specialist areas of legal practise and for a number of years has taught on professional training courses run by BPP University.
William Skjøtt
Barrister: William Skjøtt is experienced in all aspects of commercial and chancery disputes, with particular expertise in trusts and insolvency. William read International Relations and Modern History at St Andrew’s University and completed his Masters in Modern History in 2007. He won the Inner Temple Inter-Varsity Moot in 2013 and convened the Magna Carta Moot in 2014 & 2015.

Barrister: Winston specialises in property, commercial and insolvency litigation. He provides advice, drafting and advocacy to clients across these specialisms. He has appeared as sole counsel at all levels up to the Court of Appeal and has drafted a notice of objection to permission to appeal in the Supreme Court. He regularly appears in the High Court, the County Court, the First-tier Tribunal and the Upper Tribunal in petitions, applications and trials. He appeared in the Court of Appeal for the successful Appellant in Elim Court RTM Co Ltd v Avon Freeholds Ltd [2017] H.L.R. 18; [2017] EWCA Civ 89. He has particular experience of commercial debt recovery, personal insolvency, mortgage disputes and landlord and tenant. Winston represents the Bar Standards Board before the Bar Disciplinary Tribunal and the Interim Suspension Panel. He has also taken part in the Chancery Bar’s pro bono CLIPS scheme to assist litigants in person in the High Court. He has provided insolvency training to the internal lawyers at the Bar Standards Board. He has provided lectures on various topics to solicitors, corporate lay clients and the judiciary. Winston was appointed a Deputy District Judge on the South Eastern Circuit in May 2020.
