Career

Barnaby joined Chambers following placements with the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative in Accra in Ghana, at the formerly named Department for Constitutional Affairs and as the Chair of the Free Representation Unit.

Barnaby is a member of the employment, insolvency and family finance teams. He is often praised for his detailed approach to his cases, something for which he has been recognised in the Legal 500 where he features as a tier 2 junior of the Western Circuit for his employment law work.

Barnaby’s currently serves as Chambers’ head of pupillage and is also involved in the leading employment law publication Harvey on Industrial Relations & Employment Law as a Case Editor.
