She focuses on tax advice and planning and has outstanding expertise in the tax aspects of large, challenging corporate and finance transactions, including the design, planning and organization of tax-efficient transactions. She is also an expert in complex tax litigation.
Gabriel Gotlib specializes in tax, corporate and financial law. He has broad experience in tax counseling, advising banks and local and foreign companies of different areas of practice such as real estate, retail and software. He also has experience advising on financing and international transactions and mergers and acquisitions.
His practice involves counseling local and foreign companies in the design, planning and organization of tax efficient financial transactions, including loans, project financing, securitization of assets and derivatives. In the area of mergers and acquisitions he has been involved in many transactions, advising both buyers and sellers in the tax consequences derived from the transfer of assets and shares, and also advised on joint ventures between local and foreign companies. He also has a strong background in litigation in tax-related cases.
