  Pierre Karpik is a partner in Gide's Mergers-Acquisitions/Corporate practice group. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and corporate law. Pierre is more specifically involved in venture capital and capital investment transactions, particularly high-tech, and is counsel both to investors  (Eurazeo/Idinvest, Isai, 360, Ventech, Accel, BlackFin, BpiFrance, etc, to corporate entities interested in the starup companies (Legrand, CNP, CMA, Société Générale...) and to issuing companies (Doctolib, BlaBlaCar, Meilleurs Agents or Younited Credit, as well as, in the past, Fortuneo, Price Minister,, etc.).  He advises investors and growth companies on their funding rounds, restructuring, external growth transactions and their exit. David-James Sebag is a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions group, and shares his time between Gide Loyrette Nouel's New York and Paris offices. David-James practice focuses primarily on M&A, Venture Capital, Growth and Private Equity with a concentration on cross-border transactions. David-James represents a large number of international companies and private equity funds for their French investments, and advises companies in their numerous operations (acquisitions, partnerships, or financings) in France and in the US. He regularly counsels private equity investors, corporate clients and entrepreneurs on successful M&A, VC and growth transactions, with an focus on technology, healthcare and foreign-investment sensitive industries. David-James Sebag is Co-Head of Gide's VC global practice group and Head of the New York office.
