Nader, Hayaux y Goebel, SC
Client SatisfactionNoted for its ‘rigour in the handling of delicate matters and … absolute integrity’, the team at Nader, Hayaux y Goebel, SC (NHG) regularly advises on a range of transactions that includes structured finance, securitisations, equity placements, corporate lending and real estate finance, in addition to regulatory mandates. The group is frequently instructed by international banks, financial institutions, and private and public companies. A recent work highlight saw the group advise financial entities Exitus Control and Financiera G. Enterprise on the acquisition of 100% of the capital stock of CEGE Capital, a SOFOM dedicated to providing consumer loans. The practice is co-led by Michell Nader and Julián Garza. Nader’s broad practice takes in structured and acquisition finance, banking, M&A, capital markets and real estate; Garza, in turn, is highly specialised in banking and finance, M&A and capital markets, along with project finance. Additional key contacts include Hans Goebel, who handles banking law, structured and secured finance deals, security issuances and CKDs; Javier Arreola, who focuses on project finance, asset-based financing, and restructuring; and Yves Hayaux-du-Tilly, who splits his time between London and Mexico City, and takes care of banking regulatory and insurance matters. Of counsel Federico Vergara deals with cross-border structured financings, asset-based lending and corporate finance. Eduardo Villanueva left the firm in December 2023. However, the practice was strengthened in May 2024 with the arrival of Jenny Ferrón, as a partner, following three years as an associate at a global New York firm; previously a senior associate at NHG, she is well-versed in capital markets, banking and finance and private equity matters.
