The group is well-versed in representing manufacturing, commercial and service companies, in their capacity as debtors, in a wide range of financial operations, including syndicated credits, the financing of assets and the exchange of debt. Additional areas of focus include the representation of domestic and international banks as creditors, and the handling of the transactional aspects of restructuring, such as securities issuances. Leadership of the practice is shared between the firm’s founding partners, Fernando Del Castillo and Alfonso Castro. Del Castillo specialises in insolvency, civil and mercantile litigation, as well as arbitration; while Castro adds corporate, finance and capital markets expertise. Linda García de Alba takes care of general corporate advisory work, banking and finance mandates, and the restructuring of private and public debt. Associate Karla Gabriela Silva left the firm, effective January 2024.
