Full service powerhouse Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enríquez, S.C. supplements its market leading transactional offering with a steadily-developing litigation department that is praised as being ‘wonderful to work with’. The practice group excels in administrative litigation - a key contentious segment during the current administration- and has increasingly built out its constitutional litigation expertise. Indeed, the firm's contentious capabilities (in all areas bar IP and tax) were reorganised in 2022 to form a single 12-strong core group that handles a broad array of litigation, including competition cases and those with an economic component. The department is led by 20-years disputes' veteran Sara Gutiérrez who was raised to the partnership in January 2023 and is especially well-known for administrative litigation and cases involving economic factors and/or anti-competitive practices. She is seconded by counsel Héctor Anaya Mondragón (’one of the best lawyers in the firm’), whose broad disputes practice encompasses litigation and arbitration. Associate Rafael Morales Alaniz is also a noted team member, with expertise in administrative litigation across various industries, as well as amparo cases and contentious antitrust matters.
