Former senior counsel and head of the environmental law and regulation team at Holland & Knight LLP, Héctor Velasco Perroni (who ‘balances complicated substantive legal advice with practical considerations very well’) spun-off his practice to form micro-boutique Perroni & Associates (P&A) in mid-2020; the firm handles environmental and regulatory compliance, indigenous community matters, water rights, Equator Principles-related issues, environmental impact and risk assessments, forestry law and hazardous materials – the latter being a niche where it has particular expertise.
