The group has supplementary expertise in due diligence, permits, and real estate and infrastructure-related joint venture and M&A. Founding partner Carlos Ibarra Fernández steers the practice and has notable experience advising foreign investors on real estate transactions involving industrial, residential, commercial, and hospitality properties. Gerardo Gallego, also one of the firm’s founding partners, focuses on stock and asset purchase and sale agreements, joint ventures, M&A, and contracts work. Ex-practice co-head Rodrigo de los Ríos left the firm in March 2023, as did Alejandra Gutiérrez in April 2024.
