Since publication, former Cuatrecasas foreign associate Luis Vazquez has joined the firm’s Mexico office (effective: March 2025) as head of practice, following 11 years as a partner at Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enríquez, S.C. (CGCA&E); focused on tax controversy and tax litigation, his practice also take in tax advisory, cross-border transactional tax matters and the application of tax treaties. He has subsequently been joined by former CGCA&E counsel Diego Garza who arrived as a new partner, focuses on corporate taxation, in April 2025.
