Its recent workload has included tax-related structuring advisory in relation to major acquisitions, VAT assessments, and appeals against decisions by the tax authority. Co-founding partner Paul Kavanagh leads the practice and draws on extensive experience in tax planning and consulting, both in domestic and cross-border matters. Summer 2023 saw two new additions at counsel-level, bolstering the depth of the practice offering: Miguel Ángel Alonso joined in June from SMPS Legal, with Luis Kanchi arriving in August from Acedo, Santamarina, S.C.
