Louise qualified in a local firm in 2008, joined Ashtons Legal in 2014, made Associate in 2016 and then Senior Associate in 2018.
She initially qualified as a Matrimonial Lawyer and further qualified as a collaborative lawyer shortly after. However, now Louise’s work involves Will drafting including advice on tax, preparation of trust documents, estate planning, preparation and registration of Powers of Attorney, administration of estates and elderly client issues. She specialises in assisting high net worth individuals and their estates, including farming and business assets.
She is a qualified member of SFE (Solicitors for the Elderly), STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians).She is also the Treasurer for Suffolk and North Essex Law Society (SNELS) and volunteers at both the Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) and Age UK legal advice surgeries.
