Cuatrecasas Mexico provides a comprehensive legal service in the Mexican market with a multidisciplinary and specialist approach.

Our Mexico City office opened in 2016. In January 2023, Cuatrecasas integrated Rico, Robles y Libenson (RRL), adding a team of lawyers highly specialized in transactional and regulatory matters, which strengthens our capacity in the region.

Our team in Mexico offers expert advice on the main areas of business law, covering mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic alliances, public law, energy and infrastructure, finance, competition, tax, real estate, labour and employment law, litigation and arbitration, with extensive experience in advising banks, insurance companies, funds and corporations on their transactions in Mexico and abroad.

We combine our local resources in Mexico with our network of offices in Latin America and the rest of the world to offer clients a unique experience that adds value to their businesses.

Latin America is a key region for the firm. We currently have around 250 professionals working in the region at our four local offices located in Bogotá, Lima, Mexico City and Santiago. They work seamlessly and use the synergies between offices to provide our clients with comprehensive domestic and cross-border advice, as well as in matters that require efficient coordination between several jurisdictions.
