Emil is a director in our Banking and Finance team. He specialises in financial regulation and lending transactions. Emil advises financial institutions, asset managers and other regulated financial entities on regulatory matters, e.g., obtainment of authorisation and cross-border registrations, remuneration programs, marketing rules, management fitness and propriety, etc.

He has advised large Nordic financial institutions under investigation by the Danish FSA for regulatory non-compliance. Emil also advises lenders and borrowers with domestic and cross-border financing transactions, in particular corporate lending and project and asset financing, including renewable energy projects.

Emil holds a Master of Laws degree from Aarhus University and a Master of Law from the University of Cambridge. He has previous work experience from other leading Danish law firms and the European Investment Bank.

Emil is mostly involved in matters which can only be successfully handled through a strong cooperation with clients, other advisors and colleagues from the Banking and Finance team and other Plesner teams.
