Position
Nina Henningsen is specialised in intellectual property law, media and entertainment and is head of Mazanti’s Media & Entertainment department and gaming law group.
Nina has in-depth industry knowledge and substantial experience in advising leading national and international media clients and online based companies. She advises in cases concerning copyright, including clearing of rights in connection with the many new distribution forms of radio, television and music on all platforms, e.g. "catch-up" TV, SVOD and APPs. In addition, Nina has comprehensive experience in advising international online game operators and platform providers on all aspects of Danish gaming legislation, including the complicated license procedure, compliance issues, contract formation and regulatory issues in connection with international transactions.
Furthermore, Nina has wide experience in advising on cases concerning social media, sports rights, e-commerce, television formats, advertising, publisher agreements, telecommunication and computer games. She has been involved in a variety of high-profile cases concerning the media and entertainment industry and has many years' experience negotiating with administrative organisations.
Nina frequently speaks at national and international conferences and has authored articles in magazines and books. She is a member of the Committee for Media Industries under the Confederation of Danish Industry and participates in working groups under the Danish Gambling Authority and the Consumer Ombudsman regarding matters pertaining to the online gaming industry.
